- Audit Senior
Grant Thornton in the Cayman Islands is looking for Audit Seniors to join their growing audit and tax teams
Grant Thornton Cayman Islands has a vibrant and growing audit practice focused on providing the best quality audit services on the island. Our clients consists predominantly of financial services entities – captive insurance and hedge funds.
We understand how important audited financial statements are to businesses, shareholders/owners, lenders, investors and other stakeholders. We work with a large number of companies to first understand their businesses and the risks they face, and then focus our efforts where they matter most. We work with clients to improve their overall financial reporting processes and to help them better understand their businesses.
We also consider it our job to continually inform our clients about accounting, financial and regulatory developments that may affect their businesses.
We are looking for audit seniors to join our fast growing audit and tax teams.
What you need to have:
- Bachelors degree educated and fully qualified CA / ACA / ACCA / CPA.
- Previous audit experience (3+ years) and the ability to work unsupervised are essential.
- Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in ISA and US GAAS is essential.
- A proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS are strongly desired.
The successful candidate must possess good communication skills and will be responsible for a portfolio of clients mainly in the financial services industry.
