Grant Thornton Specialist Services (Cayman) Ltd ("GTSS") are looking for an Insolvency Assistant Manager to join their growing team

Grant Thornton Specialist Services (Cayman) Ltd ("GTSS") invites applications for the position of Insolvency Assistant Manager. The position involves the management of insolvency and corporate restructuring cases from initial engagement to dissolution.

Due to the nature of this senior position and regulatory requirements applicants should have an internationally recognized accounting designation and at least 3 years and 1500 hours of relevant experience PQE, or 6 years and a minimum of 3000 hours of chargeable relevant experience.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate written and verbal communications and have good computer and interpersonal skills.

The successful applicant will be expected to progress casework independently and to supervise professional and other staff.

1-2 years of working experience must specifically be on complex litigation and running cross border insolvency cases.

The position requires initiative, strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Significant demands over and above normal office hours will be expected as appointments dictate and a willingness to travel is required.

Salary will be commensurate with experience but will be between USD$70,000 and USD$90,000. Employee may also be eligible to a discretionary bonus. Pension and medical coverage benefits are also offered as prescribed by law.
