As an IA Graduate on our Advisory Team, you will receive hands-on experience working across a number of industries, the opportunity to build a professional network and ongoing mentor support from your colleagues.
Team GT will support you through your journey to become a qualified certified internal auditor (CIA), We will provide you with competitively paid full-time employment, plus the coaching, guidance and study leave you need to help you obtain your CIA designation.
About the role
You will provide supervised support to senior team members at Grant Thornton. Responsibilities. will include but are not limited to the following duties:
- Assist in gathering background information on audit areas
- Participate in risk assessments to identify key areas of focus
- Perform draft gap analysis on policies to regulatory requirements
- Help develop audit programs and document request lists
- Perform walkthroughs of business processes with senior staff
- Prepare draft copies of weekly status updates for clients
- Participate in meetings with audit clients to discuss observations
- Document meeting minutes
- Participate in training sessions and professional development activities
- Other required support, as needed

What you need
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required
- Previous internship / work experience required
- Internship experience in Public Accounting or Professional services firm a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft office is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
