The Marketing Coordinator is a position within the Grant Thornton Cayman Islands Business Operations team, dedicated to providing support for our wide spectrum of marketing activities and events, designed to build our brand profile and cultivate strong client relationships.

We are looking for a talented marketing professional to join our team and support our business growth through our ambitious marketing strategy. They will work on a variety of projects to grow our brand externally, with a particular focus on ensuring seamless external client event delivery.

About the role

This is a 360-degree marketing role where you will have exposure to all channels of marketing. It requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role.

  • Plan and action campaigns and initiatives related to branding, events, staff support and resource maintenance.
  • Draft and distribute internal and external communications. This may include digital and print initiatives related to social media, website, newsletter, intranet, email marketing and other channels.
  • Data collection, management and analytics reporting
  • Monitor internal and external merchandise inventory, ensuring timelines of repeat ordering.
  • Research and source competitive merchandise suppliers. Identify opportunities and stay abreast of all merchandise partner promotions to enable efficient purchasing power.
  • Support the control and tracking of Marketing payments, budget, merchandise inventory and shipping and clearance processes.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and venues, ensuring quality and value standards are maintained.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., marketing, communications, journalism, business, digital marketing, graphic design or visual arts)
  • Ideally possesses over a year of experience in a similar role (Financial Services experience is a bonus)
  • Must be fully proficient in Microsoft Windows programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook (experience with design software, CRM, Teams, workflow systems, photography and analytics software are a bonus)
  • Excellent communication, written and oral, and interpersonal skills with the ability to take initiative, prioritize, and be pro-active in nature.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously, while ensuring impeccable quality standards.
  • Flexible and able to work longer hours at business-critical times as part of a team or individually.
  • Motivated and committed to standards of excellence with attention to detail.
